| This addition to a landlocked church in downtown Boulder included a 30,000 S.F. children's building and a 6,700 S.F. atrium gathering space that has become the "heart" of the church. The Atrium also provides a gracious new entry to the sanctuary. The new children's building ties together the disparate styles of the 1977 sanctuary and the 1895 chapel. The chapel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Work also included a 14,000 S.F. renovation of the sanctuary and the fellowship hall. The sanctuary was expanded by 200 seats by incorporating an adjacent hallway into the main sanctuary space. |
